Biography:

Ory Sandel's practice is focused on general civil litigation, representing clients involved in the entertainment and media industries in federal and state courts and in alternative dispute resolution efforts. Other areas of focus include appellate work, licensing and protection of intellectual property rights, internet law and trademark prosecution.

Mr. Sandel received his B.A. in Communications from the University of California, San Diego in 1991, and his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 2004, with a concentration in International Law. While at Hastings, he served as Notes Editor for the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review, President of the Hastings Jewish Law Students Association, and Vice Justice of the Temple Chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. Mr. Sandel is also the author of "Dastar Through European Eyes: Effects of the Public Domain on Transatlantic Trade," 12 UCLA Ent. L. Rev. 93 (2005). Mr. Sandel is fluent in Hebrew.
